ACTS Freedom Farms provides an opportunity for Veterans to work together, enjoy the camaraderie with fellow Veterans and learn about new agricultural practices that will help them become the agri-business leaders of tomorrow.

We empower military personnel and Veterans, both whole and injured, with or without agricultural experience, and team them up with other Veterans in our POD agricultural environment to develop viable employment and meaningful careers as Agricultural Specialists.

Veteran Services and Opportunities

Manufacturer and greenhouse integration group provides ongoing marketing, sales and operational support for our Veteran Growers.
The VA works directly with the USDA and other organizations to provide education, business planning and financial services to Veterans who want to become farmers.
The USDA has numerous Veteran farmer programs that include employment, education and entrepreneurship to help ensure the successful launch for new Veteran farmers.
Provides grants, funding, business and farming resources to Veteran growers. Provides the Home Grown By Heroes labeling program for produce marketing purposes.
The Homegrown By Heroes label is the official farmer Veteran branding program of America. The label serves to inform consumers that agricultural products donning the logo were produced by U.S. military veterans.
